πŸš‹ HISTORY IS COMING TO WILLIAMS GROVE! πŸš‚
We are incredibly excited to welcome Rockhill Trolley Museum to our 9-day Steam Show, August 29–September 6! Please join us in giving them a HUGE THANK YOU for loaning us this beautiful piece of history! ❀️
For the first time since 1938, an electric trolley will operate in Cumberland County! That’s nearly 90 years of history coming back to life right here at Williams Grove! πŸŽ‰
And you won’t just get to see it—you’ll be able to RIDE IT! πŸš‹πŸ’¨
Rockhill Trolley Museum will be bringing Porto 172, a historic electric trolley built in Porto, Portugal, in 1929. This unique “semi-convertible” trolley features windows that raise into the ceiling, creating an incredible open-air riding experience!
This special opportunity is made possible through a partnership between WGHSEA, Middletown & Hummelstown Railroad, and Rockhill Trolley Museum.
🎟️ Even better—combo tickets for both a train ride AND a trolley ride will be available soon! Stay tuned for details!
Rockhill Trolley Museum is dedicated to preserving the history of electric trolley transportation and operates entirely through the hard work and dedication of volunteers. Their collection includes 25 historic electric trolleys from Pennsylvania, across the United States, and even abroad.
So mark your calendars, bring the family, and come experience a truly historic moment at Williams Grove!
