ABOUT US

During the winter of 1958-1959, the Williams Grove Historical Steam Engine Association (WGHSEA) was formed with the purpose of preserving steam powered equipment and to educate the public about the history of farming.  Our association uses steam engines for plowing, harvesting, and sawing and we have early gas engines and tractors as well as a PRR steam locomotive engine.

The association is run and operated completely by volunteers.

During our Annual Show we will be conducting a Silent Auction.  The proceeds of this event as last year's Silent Auction are targeted for the repair and restoration of the Association's Steam Traction Engine - our 1927 George White.  Our George White has been out of commission for too many years and what is a Steam Engine Association without an operating Steam Traction Engine!  The estimated cost for repair is $30,000. Please visit the Silent Auction and bid on one or more of the great items that will be offered.

Feature tractor for 2019 Annual "Fall" Steam Show will be...

Ford-Ferguson.

  • Be sure to stop by the Butcher Shop for freshly made scrapple and loose sausage!

  • Our scrapple is one of the best in the area!

  • The Butcher Shop is open until 7PM every night of the show.
