Operating Equipment on the Association's Property
Golf Carts-
You must display a WGHSEA issued Golf Cart Pass to operate a Golf Cart/UTV on our grounds. (You are required to turn in a copy of your Proof of Liability Insurance to obtain the pass.)
You must be at least 16 years of age to operate a Golf Cart/UTV on the property of the association without adult supervision. Anyone under the age of 16 must always have a parent/guardian or adult over the age of 18 present on the equipment. A parent or guardian will always be responsible for the actions of the operator.
Steam Traction Engines-
You must be at least 16 years of age and have successfully completed an operating class, to operate without adult supervision, any Steam Tractor Engine. Anyone under the age of 16 is required to always have a parent/guardian or the equipment owner present on the equipment, and they too must have successfully completed an operating class.
Farm Tractors-
You must be at least 13 years of age to operate a Farm Style Tractor on the property of the association, with a parent or guardian's permission. Anyone under the age of 13 is required to always have a parent/guardian or adult over the age of 18 present on the equipment. A parent or guardian will always be responsible for the actions of the operator.
Garden Tractors-
You must be at least 10 years of age to operate a Garden Style tractor on the property of the association, with a parent or guardian's permission. Anyone under the age of 10 is required to always have a parent/guardian or adult over the age of 18 present. A parent or guardian will always be responsible for the actions of the operator.
Speed Limit on the grounds is limited to 5 MPH – this includes but is not limited to cars, trucks, tractors, garden tractors, steam traction engines, golf carts/UTV, etc
There will be no operation of ANY equipment after Sunset unless proper headlights are being used
All types of equipment will be operated in a safe manner. Any unsafe actions by any operator will be the responsibility of the parent/guardian or equipment owner.
Any WGHSEA Board Member has the authority to patrol the grounds and address unsafe actions. The President or Vice Presidents have the authority to ask you to remove your equipment from the grounds permanently if deemed necessary.
You will be required to sign this document when registering equipment at WGHSEA, Inc, this is required by our insurance company, there are no exceptions.
